1 Reason
God can, God will, God wants to !
1 Reason has been playing together since 2005 and the Lord has been moving us along ever since! We made our 1st Cd in 2007 and our 2nd CD in 2008. We are currently working on raising funds for our 3rd.
It started out with Chad Burnes and Ricky Payne - which are the Song Writers, Vocalists and Rhythm Guitar players. God has given us the songs and the ability to do this - we just made ourselves available to Him.
We believe He's not looking for professionals (good thing)! He just needs willin' vessels to work through and use for His glory, even two country boys from a small town in Fred, TX.!!
Chad Burnes was born in Kirbyville, TX and pretty much raised in or around Fred, TX.
I am married to my wife Misty, which we have been together for 18 years. We have one son named Dustin, who is 16 years old and plays music as well.
Ricky Payne was born in Kountze, TX, raised in Chester and now resides in Fred, TX.
I am married to Teresa - my wife of 25 years. We have two wonderful children; Our daughter Amanda Baker & her husband Rodney; and our son, Justin Payne & his wife Nicole. We have 3 beautiful grand-children: Makayla, Kolton & Kiley.
But that's not all! Along the way we have picked up a few more members.
our drummer is Mike Boone from China Tx.
Mike Boone - I have been a Christian since about age of 5. Grew up in Alabama. I started playing drums @ 11.I have lived in Texas since 1981. And was a widower untill 2007 when God blessed me with Robyn. Between the 2 of us we have 3 grown children and 7 grandkids.
I am the latest member to join 1 Reason and it is a very good group which I am so happy to be able to serve God in this ministry.
We are thankful the Lord has put them in our lives and that they love the Lord and want to use their talents for Him!!
